About Us

Calder Floods & Damp proofing was born in 2012, the company was formed after some of our own properties was severely affected by floods across Yorkshire.We all had a background in property development, remedial repairs and maintenance. We quickly fixed our own properties and followed all the relevant regulations and got everything signed off by the relevant authorities.

We then wanted to do more and help other people affected by one of the worst issues we had all faced, flood home. We gained our Flood Professionals certification, became assessed to be members of BSI and became BSI Kitemarked, we also became authorised surveyors and installers of BSI Kite marked flood mitigation products. At this point we were consumed by water and how to stop it getting into properties, we actively sourced all available training so we could offer the best and most knowledgeable service. We quickly became government approved contractors and worked on hundreds of jobs all across the U.K.

Our company has grown drastically over the last few years and we now have our own dedicated warehouse, several emergency response teams, installation professionals, structural engineers, surveyors and growing fleet of vehicles. All this means we are ready for any project we undertake, no matter the size of the job we can achieve the result you want.
